Julia S. Kerr

Julia S. Kerr, 93, of Carmichaels, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013, in her home.
She was born December 1, 1919, in Fayette County, a daughter of the late Charles and Poline Sabine Swistak.
She was married to the late Nathan B. Kerr.
Mrs. Kerr is survived by three children, Charles C. Kerr and wife Sharon, Nathan B. Kerr and Judith R. Price; seven grandchildren, Charles Kerr II, Dawn Ringling, Brian Kerr, Lance Kerr, Julia Price, Heidi Brayer and Shannon Irvin; eight great-grandchildren; and her extended family, Glen and Marianne Dale, Dorothy Fabery Cunningham Kerr and Thomas W. Petron. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kerr lived for her God, family and farming. She loved all that nature provided.
She takes with her fond memories of the kindness and generosity of her friends and neighbors, her cherished collection of postcards from around the world and greeting cards of cheer.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
To honor the request of the deceased, a private funeral service has been arranged for the immediate family.
