William L. “Red” Eiler, 83, of McDonald, died Sunday, November 10, 2013, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born October 25, 1930, in Aliquippa, a son of the late William A. and Grace Pyle Eiler.
Mr. Eiler was a retired steelworker with Shenango Inc.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Eiler enjoyed the outdoors, watching football and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Frizzie) Eiler; daughters Karen (Bill) Lueders of Florida, Jeanne (Gerald) Bonifate of Virginia and Patricia (Dan) Greenawalt of Sturgeon; grandchildren Lacey (Mike) Seigler, Larissa and Drake Bonifa and William Greenawalt; a great-grandson, Cameron Seigler; and a brother, Robert (Carol) Eiler of Pittsburgh.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Frederick Eiler.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 14. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
