Dolores Rose Buck, 83, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Victory Hill, Monongahela, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, in Nevaeh Cove, Charleroi.

She was born September 16, 1930, in Hamtramck, Mich., a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Nosek Jankowski.

Mrs. Buck attended Christian Missionary Alliance in Fayette City, where she volunteered her time with children’s activities and enjoyed going on bus trips to Lancaster.

She spent a lot of her time working at the flower shop with her daughter, Julie, and being a caregiver to all of her family. She loved animals, shopping, cooking and baking.

Surviving are a daughter, Julie and husband Jack Issi of Belle Vernon; a brother, Stanley and wife Louise Jankowski of the state of California; three sisters, Eleanor and husband Joe Miller of Hopewell Township, Marian and husband Herbert Ballas of Meadow Lands and Shirley and husband Robert BonAnno of Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Ronald L. Buck, who died September 13, 1999; brothers John, Robert and Stanley Jankowski and twins Anthony and infant Henry Jankowski.

She leaves behind her granddog, Sammo.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 15, in Bible Alliance Church, 1300 Mt. Pleasant Road, West Newton, with Pastor Frank Todaro officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at noon and go in procession to the church. Entombment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
