Margaret Delores George, 75, of Eighty Four, died Monday, November 11, 2013, in Golden Living Center, Canonsburg.
She was born January 5, 1938, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Orville and Alicia Rosser Orndoff.
Mrs. George was a member of View Crest Presbyterian Church in Eighty Four.
She loved being with her family and was known as “Mum George” to all of her children’s friends.
Surviving are three sons, Steven George and wife Margaret Danielle of Fairbanks, Alaska, Daniel George and wife Catt of North Strabane Township and Timothy George of North Strabane; three daughters, Karen Lockoski of Canonsburg, Lesa Hanna and husband Jim of Charleroi and Tracy Taylor and husband Johnathan of Weymouth, Mass.; a sister, Ruth Petco; 11 grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, Jason, Shawnee, Nakita, Corey, Jessie, Isabella, Catherine, Elias and Gianna; six great-grandchildren; a niece, Pamela Petco; and two nephews, Frankie Petco and Michael Petco.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, is her husband, Benjamin George.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Sollon Funeral Home Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, J. David Sollon, supervisor, Phillip L. Sollon, director, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 16, with the Rev. Shaun Nolan, pastor of View Crest Presbyterian Church, officiating.
