Stanley Blostic, 86, of Cokeburg, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, in Victoria House, Monessen.
He was born December 23, 1926, in Cokeburg, a son of the late Michael John and Eva Skavinsky Blostic.
Mr. Blostic was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. For his service, he received the Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, Meritorious Unit Award and World War II Victory Ribbon.
Surviving are seven brothers, Michael, William, Richard and Anthony Blostic, all of Cokeburg, Charles Blostic of Streetsboro, Edward Blostic of Scenery Hill and Leonard Blostic, TOR, of Hollidaysburg; three sisters, Eve Blostic, OSF, of Pittsburgh, Patricia Blostic, MSIC, of Parsippany, N.J., and Wanda Blostic, OCD, of Latrobe; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Blostic; and four sisters, Helen Mance, Stella Stuart, Mary Geffert and Carol Lilley.
Services are private and under the direction of Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. A guest book and personal condolences may be accessed at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com.
