Frances M. Galbraith, of Canonsburg, died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2013, on her 79th birthday, in her home, with family by her side.
She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Crinite Toddre.
Mrs. Galbraith lived in Canonsburg for the past 35 years.
She was Catholic.
Mrs. Galbraith was a homemaker who enjoyed her entire family.
Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Scott of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Carol McClelland of Canonsburg; a sister, Rose Taylor of Wexford; eight grandchildren, Clark, Denise, Diane, Joseph, Lisa, Lorie, Stacey and Robert; 24 great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ethan, May, Quinn, Kayla, Tripp, Katlyn, Darrell, Sheila, William James (B.J.), Roy, Jason, Britton, Dayla, Julien, Cory, Cara, Freddie, Cheyenne, Mason, Heather, Missy, Bobby and Miranda and 8 great-great-grandchildren; Haylee, Charles, Logan, Ava, Darrell, Sky, Gianna and Damon.
She also leaves behind special friends, Gracie, Sissy and Karen.
Deceased are her first husband, Robert Stumpf, who died June 3, 1966; her second husband, George W. Galbraith, who died July 7, 2011; a son, Robert Stumpf, who died August 6, 2011; a grandson, Joey Diaz; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Diaz; four sisters; and a brother.
Friends and family are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where a Catholic blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 20.
