Former Canonsburg resident

Albert John “Big Al” Cisson, 70, died peacefully Sunday, November 10, 2013, in his Ormond Beach, Fla., home surrounded by his family and friends.

He was born May 26, 1943, in Canonsburg. He moved to Ormond Beach with his brother and family in 1972, and purchased a motel on A1A. He later carried on his father’s legacy and opened Cisson’s Auto in 1984, where he worked until he retired in 2004.

Mr. Cisson had a passion for cars and motorcycles that began in his childhood, working at his father’s shop. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, painting, music and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his childhood sweetheart, Beverly “Billie” Cisson; his children, Denise Cisson, Albert Cisson (Deanna) and Darcy Siegel (Aaron); his grandchildren, Kirstin, Colin and Lauren; a brother, Richard Cisson; and a sister, Elayne Versage.

He also leaves behind his dog, Harley.

A celebration of Mr. Cisson’s life will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, November 23, on the beach at 2026 Ocean Shore Boulevard, Ormond-By-The-Sea, Fla.

In lieu of cards and flowers and his love for animals, please make any donation in his name to your favorite animal charity.
