Olga Michalena Curci, 97, of Washington, died Sunday, October 6, 2013, in Consulate Health Care, Canonsburg.
She was born October 19, 1915, in Foggia, Italy, a daughter of Patsy Leone and Nina Joann Leone.
Ms. Curci was the operator and manager of Normain Hotel for 25 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
Ms. Curci loved animals and cared for stray cats.
She was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan.
Surviving are a brother, Tony Leone of Washington; a sister, Erma Tumicki of Canonsburg; five grandchildren, Lisa Petro, Richard Hoffman, Michelle Coppetta, Mark Curci and Michele Curci; several great-grandchildren, including Emily, Sarah, Matthew, Nathaniel and Lydia; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Dominic and Anthony.
Deceased are a son, Carmen Curci; a daughter, Ellen Hoffmann; and three sisters, Helen Zullo, Adele Russo and Edith Leone.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Ave., Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 10, in Immaculate Conception Church, Washington. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
