Lifelong resident of Greene County

Irma Mae Henry, 68, of Sycamore, died Saturday, October 19, 2013, in Washington Hospital.

She was born October 28, 1944, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late James Leslie Thompson and Virginia Lee Toland Thompson.

On March 29, 1981, she married Barry Duane Henry, who survives.

Mrs. Henry was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Greene County.

She enjoyed working puzzles and crossword puzzles, playing softball and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Sandra Elizabeth Thompson (Edward Duane Thomas) of Washington and Edna Lynn Kennedy (James Sr.) of Fairview, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Justin Nathan Thompson, Patricia Nicole Thompson, Karissa Christine Thompson, Gregory Scott Thompson, Angel Kennedy, Rebecca Kennedy, James Kennedy Jr., James Thompson Jr. and Jason Scott Thompson; seven brothers, Robert D. Thompson, Ralph Leslie Thompson and John F. Thompson all of Sycamore, James Miller Thompson of Florida, Thomas Eugene Thompson of West Finley, James Harold Thompson of Washington and Samuel J. Thompson of Graysville; two sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Keefer of West Alexander and Bertha Irene Kinney of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a brother, Woodrow Earl Thompson; an infant daughter; and an infant granddaughter, Jasmine Marie Kennedy.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, with the Rev. Kenneth Curfman officiating. Interment will follow in Braddock Cemetery at Graysville.
