Martha McNary

Martha McNary, 80, of Washington, died Friday, September 6, 2013, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born December 20, 1932, in West Middletown, a daughter of the late Michael and Rose Litwin Knish.
Mrs. McNary was a member of First Christian Church in Washington.
She was a 1950 graduate of Trinity High School.
Mrs. McNary ran the sweet shop at Presbyterian SeniorCare in Washington.
On September 1, 1950, in Eighty Four, she married Merle A. McNary, who died December 26, 1996.
Surviving are a son, Don McNary of Washington; a daughter, Nancy (Robert) Mathe of Moon; grandchildren Jake (Ashley) McNary, Amanda (James) Prosenjak, Chris McNary, John Mathe and Ali McNary.
Deceased are a son, Sam McNary; three brothers; and four sisters.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, September 9. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
