Doris J. Beaver
22-year South Park School District teacher
Doris J. Updegrave Beaver, 96, of Bethel Park, formerly of Library, died Monday, September 2, 2013.
She was the wife of the late Somer C. Beaver; beloved mother of Janice E. Cribbs of Bethel Park and Gary L. Beaver (Diane) of West Alexander; sister of the late Ruth Farr and Mary Heple; and grandmother of Tim Cribbs (Amanda), Ryan (Kristen), Devon (Amy) and Jordan Beaver.
Mrs. Beaver was a member of Peters Creek Baptist Church for more than 73 years. She was an elementary school teacher in South Park School District for 22 years.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in David J. Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (Route 88), Library. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, in Peters Creek Baptist Church, South Park Township.
