Charles “Karl” Hudak, 86, of Castle Shannon, passed away with his family by his side Saturday, September 7, 2013.
Born August 22, 1927 in Castle Shannon, he is a loving son of Charles and Elizabeth Otter Hudak.
He was the loving brother of Martha Hannah; and adored uncle of Sherry (Frank) Strnisa, David (Evelyn) Hannah and Jeffrey Hannah. Also surviving are many great-nephews, a great-niece and a great-great-niece.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.
Mr. Hudak was the owner of Keystone Landscaping in Peters Township.
He had a passion for painting and was a true artist. Most of all, he had an extreme love for animals.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Cremation & Funeral Care by Danielle Andy Belusko, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray. A service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, September 12, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, 1527 Route 136, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
