Dolores M. Szczotka, 82, formerly of Washington, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Kissimmee, Fla., after a year of declining health.She was born June 13, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of Frank and Anna Senkoski.
Mrs. Szczotka was a homemaker and worked for several years in environmental services at the Washington Trust Building.
On July 9, 1949, she married Walter Szczotka, who died in October 2009.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Sitka Lester M.D. of Saint Cloud; two sons, Walter Dennis (Penny) and Michael Allen (Cynthia); and grandchildren Walter Szczotka, Kelly Szczotka, Ashley Lester, Rachel Lester Battaglini, Adam Sitka and Aaron Sitka.
She was blessed to live long enough to see the birth of her first great-grandchild, Harper Rose Battaglini.
Deceased are a son, John who died at birth; a brother, Frank; and a sister, Stella.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 28, in Washington Cemetery mausoleum.
