Joan Marie Bubenheim, 78, of Burgettstown, passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 20, 2013, in Weirton (W.Va.) Medical Center.
She was born July 31, 1935, a daughter of the late John Walter and Edna Amelia Custer Bartruff.
A graduate of Dormont High School, Mrs. Bubenheim was employed as a bank teller for Mellon Bank. She was also previously employed at Cindrich’s Dry Cleaners in Robinson Township, Persin’s Restaurant in Bavington and Kentucky Fried Chicken in Robinson Township.
A Christian, she enjoyed reading, playing solitaire and being with her cats.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra Stetar and husband Jim of Burgettstown; a son, Charles Bubenheim and wife Nancy of Bulger; a daughter-in-law, Brigit Cunningham-Bubenheim; seven grandchildren, Stephenie Wagner and husband Christopher, Daniel Bubenheim and wife Nicole, Regan Huber and husband Marc, Kristen Pillitteri and husband Michael, Matthew Stetar and George and Charles Bubenheim; five great-grandchildren, Victor and Alexandra Wagner, Mason Bubenheim, Wrennon Huber and Knox Pillitteri; a sister, Janet Wilfong of Bethel Park; and nephews Robert and Timothy Wilfong.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, George Bubenheim, and a son, John “Jack” Bubenheim.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 22, in Lee and Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where a service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 23. Interment will be held in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.

Former operating room technician loved to read
Mary Frances “Fran” Egger, 83, of Aliquippa, formerly of Waynesburg, died Friday, September 20, 2013, in Friendship Ridge at Beaver.
She was born May 24, 1930, in Pricedale, a daughter of the late Richard and Carrie Rinehart Hudson.
Mrs. Egger was a graduate of Georges High School.
On November 15, 1952, she married Edward H. Egger, who died August 2, 1998.
Mrs. Egger worked as an operating room technician at Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.
She was a member of Washington Street United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Egger enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved to read.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon K. Coneybeer (William) of Jefferson and Pamela Crawford (Bill) of Aliquippa; three granddaughters, Angela Morris, Heather Crawford and Lindsey Coneybeer; two great-granddaughters, Isabelle Morris and Rylee Morris; a sister, Betty Brashear of Tucson, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a son, Gary Egger; two brothers, Richard Hudson and Smith Hudson; and two sisters, Martha Foye and Grace Groff.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, where services will begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Air Force veteran loved spending time with family
William Joseph “Bill” Fodor, 63, of Follansbee, W.Va., passed away peacefully Friday, September 20, 2013, in UPMC-Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 23, 1950, in Washington, a son of the late William J. Sr. and Helen Sabo Fodor.
Mr. Fodor was a 1968 graduate of Avella Area High School and attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He then served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, as an assistant crew chief on a B-52 bomber.
He was an employee of Arcelor Mittal Steel Corp., where he worked as an electronics technician.
Mr. Fodor was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and American Legion, both in Follansbee. He enjoyed golf, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father and “pappy” to his wife, Carolyn Benzo Fodor; his two children, Matthew (Paula) Fodor of Follansbee and Kelly (Cameron) Castellaw of Richmond, Ky.; two grandsons, Gavin and Pete Fodor; and two brothers, Mark (Jayne) Fodor and Ronald Fodor, both of Pennsylvania.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is his brother, Joseph Fodor.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main Street, Follansbee. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Follansbee, with Monsignor Paul Hudock as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Avella.
Full military honors will be conducted by Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.

Member of Church of the Covenant
Ellen Grace Prigg, 95, of Bethel Park, formerly of Washington, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, in Woodcliffe Manor, Bethel Park.
She was born September 17, 1918, in Washington, the daughter of Harry C. Prigg and C. Elizabeth Mounts.
Ms. Prigg was a housekeeper and a member of Church of the Covenant and its women’s circle.
Surviving are a niece, Deborah Sue Gauthier of East Freetown, Mass., and several other nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Leroy Prigg and James O. Prigg; and four sisters, Maude McQuay, Helen Danley, Sylvia Hagerty and Mary Lou Auld.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Arrangements are being handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
