Earl Francis Donaldson
Korean War veteran
Earl Francis Donaldson, 79, of Waynesburg, died 4:15 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2013, in his home.
He was born Thursday, February 15, 1934, in Fairview, W.Va., a son of the late Leroy Donaldson and Mildred Kathleen Nicholson Donaldson.
Mr. Donaldson was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War.
He was a farmer, working for several years for Alex Haring.
Surviving are his caregivers, Jaime and James W. Wood Jr. Also surviving are other extended family.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon, the time of the service, Tuesday, October 1, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, with the Rev. Nick Bardo officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery, Morgan Township. Graveside military rites will be accorded by representatives of the U.S. Army and James Farrell American Legion Post 330 of Waynesburg.
