Janet L. Jones, 57, of Washington, formerly of Langeloth, died Thursday, September 26, 2013, in her home.
She was born December 21, 1955, in Washington, a daughter of the late James Ray and Alice Mae Watton Strope.
Mrs. Jones was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Walter Joseph Jones Jr. of Langeloth; brother, David (Cathie) Strope of Follansbee, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Walter Joseph Jones Sr.; brother James Ray Strope Jr.; and sister Karen Fischer.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, September 29, in New Hope Church of God in Christ, Francis Mine, followed immediately by a memorial service with Pastor Clyde Watton and Pastor Ralph Brown Sr. officiating.
