James William Ashbaugh

James William “Mike” Ashbaugh, 64, of Washington, died unexpectedly, in his home, Wednesday, September 25, 2013.
He was born December 7, 1948, in Washington, a son of the late William David and Catherine Conti Ashbaugh.
A graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, he also attended West Virginia University.
Mr. Ashbaugh was co-owner of Polymer Grinding Inc. in Houston and had previously worked as an ironworker in Wheeling, W.Va.
A member of the Washington Harley Owners Group Chapter, he was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, Jimmy Buffet and Eagles fan, enjoyed cooking and was extremely meticulous and mechanical. Mr. Ashbaugh was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose 22 and the Arden Club.
Surviving are two sons, Michael William Ashbaugh of Washington and Joshua Smith of Castle Shannon; and a cousin, Phyllis Doria.
Deceased are his stepfather, Earl E. Voelker; and a brother, William “Sonny” Ashbaugh.
