John Angott, 84, of Washington, died Friday, January 31, 2014, in Washington Hospital.
He was born December 19, 1929, in Washington, a son of Tony and Catherine Bellotti Angott.
Mr. Angott was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. He had worked as a forklift operator at Brockway Glass Plant No. 7 for 37 years.
A Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he enjoyed fishing and music.
On June 11, 1955, he married Elizabeth Pinter, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ronald Angott of Washington; a daughter, Debra Angott of Washington; a brother, Sam “Beanie” Angott of Washington; and a sister, Ursaline McGary of West Alexander.
Deceased are a brother, Tony Angott, and a sister, Theresa Medovich.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, with Father William Feeney officiating.
