Mildred Hruska

Mildred Hruska, 94, of Carmichaels, died at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014, in Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, Waynesburg.
She was born November 12, 1919, in Leisenring, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dora Marcus Baker.
Mrs. Hruska was resided in Carmichaels since 1941, where she was a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, St. Hugh Rosary Altar Society and St. Hugh Senior Activity Group.
On September 7, 1935, in New Salem, she married August J. Hruska, who died August 23, 2003.
Surviving are three daughters, Mildred Bair and her husband, John, of Carmichaels, Mary “Ibby” Levine and her husband, Howard, of Middletown, Md., and Barbara Smith and her husband, Robert, of Stafford, Va.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her siblings.
Deceased are a grandson, Richard Bair; five brothers, Martin Baker, Mike Baker, Joseph Baker, William Baker and Peter Baker; and five sisters, Helen David, Mary Mosier, Martha Vuicich, Anna Ozanich and Mollie DePace.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Yoskovich Funeral Home, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, where a blessing service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 6, followed at 1:30 p.m. by a Mass of the Resurrection in St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, with the Rev. John M. Bauer as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. A vigil service will be held at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
