Angelo Vettori, 94, of Finleyville, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 30, 1919, in Mt. Lebanon, a son of Albert and Assunta Mungai Vettori.
Mr. Vettori owned and operated the former Finleyville Auto Parts for many years and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving are a daughter, Dottie Cushman of New Eagle; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Deceased are his wife, Ruth Taylor Vettori, who died in August 1990; a daughter, Nancy Griffiths; and his loving companion, Lil Ayres.
Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 24, with Pastor Brent Furlong officiating. Private interment will be held in Jefferson United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gill Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
