Kimberly Anne Shaffer, 38, of Carmichaels, died Friday, February 21, 2014, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born January 24, 1976, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Kathleen Rice of Clarksville and Charles J. Zvonkovich of Canonsburg.
Also surviving are her husband, Brian Shaffer; four children, Andrew Ingram, Devin Zvonkovich, Kayla Shaffer and Kacie Shaffer; a granddaughter, Olivia Pratt; maternal grandmother Dolores Petratus of Carmichaels; paternal grandmother Dorothy Zvonkovich of Greensboro; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are her grandfathers, Stephen A. Zvonkovich and Joseph Petratus.
Mrs. Shaffer was a graduate of Courtland High School in Fredericksburg, Va.
She was employed by Teletech in Uniontown, as a call service representative, until she became ill.
In her youth, she enjoyed horseback riding and running track for her school team.
Mrs. Shaffer will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 9 to 10:15 a.m., the time of service, Tuesday, February 25, in Lesako Funeral Home Inc., 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, PA 15320, 724-966-5100, Paul M. Lesako, director/supervisor/owner, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Marcellus Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson, with the Rev. Father Francis Fraser, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels. A parish wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
