Shirley Elizabeth White

Shirley Elizabeth White, 78, of Washington, died Saturday, February 22, 2014, in Consulate Health Care of North Strabane. Gateway Hospice was her caregiver.
She was born April 27, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of the late Harold Orville White and Helen E. Clemens White.
Ms. White was a 1953 graduate of Washington High School. During her senior year in high school, she began working at Cameron Coca-Cola, and continued working for the Cameron family for the next 43 years, retiring as office manager.
She loved vacationing with her family at Ocean Isle, S.C., and Seven Springs Resort.
Ms. White was a 50-year member of Third United Presbyterian Church, now known as New Hope Church.
Surviving are a sister, Peg Wilson of Washington; three nieces, Shirley Dean (Jim) Williams, Debbie Wilson and Denise Lago; a nephew, George “Butch” (Cyndi) Wilson; great-nieces Megan and Morgan Wilson and Elizabeth and Victoria Lago; great-nephews Patrick (Jasmine) Williams, Nicholas Williams, Mitchell Wilson and Matthew Lago; great-great-nephew Henry Williams; great-great-niece Dagny Williams; and her closest friends, Dick Cameron and Donna Staso.
Deceased is a brother, David Wayne White.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, with the Rev. Thomas Bellhy officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
