Beloved mother, cherished grandmother

Ethel “Jean” Orbin, 88, of Strabane, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014, after a lengthy illness.

She was born October 31, 1925, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Anthony and Hallie Meyers Binder.

Mrs. Orbin was beloved mother of Sharon Donella and Mike Orbin; cherished grandmother of Chad (Rae Ann) Strimel, Jessie, Breezie, Ashley and Rita Orbin; dear great-grandmother of Seth Strimel, Haley, Jessie Jr., Kylie and Jayden Orbin, Nakyra and Taysean Paith; and sister of Paul (Norma Jean) Binder and Dolores (Earl) Loar.

Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, James Frances Orbin Sr., and son, James Orbin Jr.

Friends and family are welcome from 1 to 5 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, March 1, in Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. Burial will be private in Forest Lawn Cemetery, McMurray.
