Carmella E. Sciulli, 90, of Washington, formerly of Bentleyville, died Friday, January 3, 2013, in Strabane Woods.
She was born June 3, 1923, in Bentleyville, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Pierene Margarette Natelline Brova DeGiorgio.
Mrs. Sciulli was a lifelong member of Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville, and also a member of the Altar Rosary Society.
For 40 years, she worked for Jet’s Food Center, Bentleyville.
Mrs. Sciulli enjoyed crocheting, bingo, cooking Italian food and baking.
Surviving are three sons, Ben Sciulli Jr. (Joyce) of Beaver Falls, Charles Sciulli of Washington and Joe Sciulli (JoAnn) of Bentleyville; two grandchildren, Eli and Cody Sciulli; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased, in addition to her husband, Ben Sciulli Sr., who died July 15, 1987, are her stepfather, Vicenzo Bombardia; a sister, Linda DeGeorge; and two brothers, John and Joseph DeGeorge.
Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Edward Yuhas as celebrant. Interment is private.
