Ruth Naomi Stoneking

Ruth Naomi “Gram” Stoneking, 88, of Fox Hill Road, Garrison, died Monday, January 13, 2014, in her home.
She was born May 28, 1925, near Burton, W.Va., a daughter of the late James Roupe and Millie May Crouser Roupe.
Mrs. Stoneking was a homemaker and a member of Grandview United Methodist Church, Garrison.
She enjoyed cooking and being funny.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Stoneking and wife Jeannie and Albert Ray Stoneking, both of Garrison; five grandchildren, Angela, Doug, Mark, Troy and Craig Stoneking; seven great-grandchildren, Nathan Tedrow, Amanda Anderson, Rachel Barnhart and Anthony, Dylan, Matt and Kayla Stoneking; and three great-great-grandchildren, Julia, Abigail and Waylon.
Her husband of 67 years, Wilson Carl Stoneking, died August 8, 2009.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a sister, Marie Christian; five brothers, Leo, Ralph, Harvey, Bud and Thomas Lee Roupe; three half brothers; three half sisters; a great-great-grandson, Jace Lee Barnhart; and a great-great-granddaughter, Piper Lynne Barnhart.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Tennant Funeral Home, Hundred, W.Va., where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 16, with the Pastor Cynthia Deter officiating. Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Ned.
