Helen A. Cummins

Member of Immaculate Conception Church

Helen A. Cummins of Washington died Saturday, March 8, 2014, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township, after a brief illness.

She was born in Bulger, a daughter of the late William and Margaret Penderville Clark Sr.

Mrs. Cummins had been employed as a weigh master and payroll clerk for 22 years at Rea Coal Company and Clark Coal Company, which was owned by her father. She had also been employed at Lang’s for 15 years as a sales clerk, until her retirement.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church for more than 60 years. She was also a member of AARP.

Her first husband, John A. Kaezyk, died in 1940. Her second husband, Robert H. “Jerry” Cummins, died in 1977.

Surviving are a son-in-law, John J. Keeley of Mt. Lebanon; two sisters, Lois M. Brust of Wexford and Mona Lee (Gene) Riley of Mt. Lebanon; grandchild Michael J. (Anna) Keeley of Mt. Lebanon; great-grandchild Darren M. Keeley of Mt. Lebanon; two special friends, Dee (Douglas) English of Washington and Carole Pocheba of Washington; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Sarah “Sally” Keeley; two brothers, William Clark Jr. and John C. Clark; and two sisters, Loretta Malone and Margaret Brown.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. Burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenue, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director.
