John David Arbuckle

John David Arbuckle, 66, of Washington, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014, in his home.
He was born December 31, 1947, in Washington, a son of the late John W. and Frances J. Noyes Arbuckle.
Mr. Arbuckle was a 1964 graduate of McGuffey High School. He attended General Motors Institute and was a graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College.
He was a coal miner at Mine 58 for Marianna-Beth Energy, then studied respiratory therapy and was employed by West Virginia University Hospital and, finally, Southwest Regional Hospital in Waynesburg.
Mr. Arbuckle was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during the Vietnam War.
On December 24, 1986, in Washington, he married Deborah Dunn Ralston, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, John E. (Michelle Stepp) Arbuckle of Marianna; a daughter, Tina (David) Cunningham of Starkville, Miss.; a stepson, Christopher (Jennifer Johns) Ralston of Washington; a stepdaughter, Rebekah (Todd Hryckowian) Ralston of Pittsburgh; a sister, Jean (Robert) Westerman of Washington; and six grandchildren.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
