1915-2014

Antonina Parrinello, 99, of California, died peacefully Thursday, March 13, 2014, with her family by her side.

She was born Friday, February 19, 1915, in Trabia, Sicily, a daughter of the late Charles and Rose Bataglia Campagna.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

In addition to her parents, deceased are her husband, Salvatore Parrinello, in August 1988; and her daughter, Angeline Joyce, in February 2013.

Left to cherish her memory are three children, Rose (David) Fowkes of Winter Park, Fla., Joseph Parrinello of Edgewater, Fla., and Richard Parrinello of California; a son-in-law, Vincent Joyce of Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California. Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Monday, March 17 at 9 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, with Fr. Michael Zavage as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
