Albina Elizabeth Mutschler

Albina Elizabeth Mutschler, 98, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014, in Consulate Retirement Village of North Strabane surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 6, 1915, in Monongahela, a daughter of the late William A. and Susanna Sarnosky Hays.
Mrs. Mutschler lived most of her life in the Pittsburgh and Bethel Park areas, where she was a member of St. Thomas Moore R.C. Church.
She enjoyed baking, playing cards and doing crossword puzzles.
On September 6, 1937, she married her beloved husband of 57 years, William James Mutschler, who passed away May 6, 1994.
Surviving are two sons, Bill (Betty) Mutschler of Blairstown, N.J., and Tom (Donna) Mutschler of Murrysville; a daughter, Peggy (Jim) Baumgartner of Canonsburg; seven grandchildren, Bill (Kelly) Mutschler III, Brett Mutschler, Dawn (Greg) Dillner, Tomm (Jill) Mutschler, Charlie (Kim) Mutschler and Ryan and Brooke Baumgartner; seven great-grandchildren, Maggie and Aidan Mutschler, Jada and Joey Dillner and Ben, Henry and Samantha Mutschler; two sisters, Ann Lenik of Finleyville and Susan Haburchak of Monongahela; and a brother, William Hays of Monongahela.
Deceased are a sister, Mary Ritmanich, and a brother, Joseph Hays.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Salandra Funeral Service Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where departing prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
