Jane Ann Hobson Snyder, 62, passed peacefully in her sleep Thursday, March 13, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Snyder was the loving mother of Melissa A. (Nick) Veltri and Joshua F. Snyder; the beloved sister of John P. (Marg) Hobson and Mary Ann Hobson; and sister-in-law of Janice (Tim) Haas.

There to greet her with outstretched arms and loving hearts are Mrs. Snyder’s late parents, Honor and Harry Hobson, and her one true love, Bill, who passed just three years earlier.

Mrs. Snyder was an active member of St. Benedict Church and contemporary choir. She loved being with friends and family, cooking, antiquing, walking with her rescued morkie, Izabella, gardening and being outdoors.

Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church. Entombment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
