Helen B. Teegarden
Helen B. Teegarden, 93, of Crucible, formerly of Rices Landing, died at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017, in her home.
She was born November 22, 1924, in Rices Landing, a daughter of the late Frank Donley and Estelle Eveleen Wright Kennedy.
From 1948 until 1965, Mrs. Teegarden resided in Davistown, Greene County. She resided most of her life, however, in Rices Landing, where she was a member of Rices Landing United Methodist Church.
On February 11, 1943, she married William A. Teegarden Sr., who died November 30, 2013.
Surviving are three sons, William A. Teegarden Jr. and wife Betty Jo of Westerville, Ohio, Gerald D. Teegarden and wife Donna of Johnstown, Ohio, and Mark L. Teegarden Sr. and wife Vickie of Rices Landing; a daughter, Darlene Linderman and husband Calvin, with whom she made her home; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda M. Layton of Sunbury, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are two brothers, Marvin R. Kennedy and Melvin W. Kennedy, and a sister, Evelyn Teagarden.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Yoskovich Funeral Home (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 7, with the Rev. Richard Berkey officiating. Interment will follow in Hewitt Cemetery, Rices Landing.
