Dolores Berdine McHenry Williamson
Dolores Berdine McHenry Williamson of Avella passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017, in Weirton (W.Va.) Medical Center.
She was born September 12, 1929, in Byesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl W. and Carrie C. Nunley McHenry.
She was Methodist.
Mrs. Williamson was formerly employed by Byesville Pottery.
She was a member of Appalachian Fall Music Club and a former member of Cross Creek Senior Center, Avella.
Mrs. Williamson enjoyed her grandchildren, crocheting, music, bead crafting and her grandpuppy, Muffin.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband of 54 years, Robert S. Williamson; a son, William E. Morrison; a daughter, Sharon A. O’Brien Shernit; a brother, Arliss McHenry; five sisters, Bessie Eubanks, Marge Abrams, Irene Mallett, Bonnie Duddey and Linda White; a grandson, Michael Starinsky; and a son-in-law, John Shernit.
Surviving are a son, Carlos J. (Billie) O’Brien of Wellsburg, W.Va.; a daughter, Brenda K. (John Sr). Starinsky of Jewett, Ohio; a brother, Melvin (Buzz) McHenry of Cambridge, Ohio; a sister, Janet (Wayne) Redd of Lore City, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Reasner Funeral Home, 1515 Charles Street, Wellsburg, W.Va., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 7. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Avella.
