Scott Eugene Dashofy
Scott Eugene Dashofy, 54, of Cuddy, formerly of Cecil Township, died Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
He was born October 1, 1963, in Mt. Lebanon, a son of Eugene and Linda Beyer Dashofy.
Mr. Dashofy was a member of Granish Club and Teamsters Unions 249 and 341. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities, Mopar Muscle Cars, NASCAR and tractor pulling. He was an Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 1369 in Cecil.
He worked as a truck driver for DCI, Dean’s Water, K&S Water and the Teamsters.
Surviving are parents Eugene and Linda Dashofy of Cecil Township; sister Suzanne (Brian) Senecal of Lathrop, Mo.; brother Keith Dashofy of Houston; nephew Andrew M. Dashofy of Canonsburg; two nieces, Amanda and Christina Senecal of Rutland, Vt.; aunt Pat Dashofy of Houston; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Ferdinand and Doris Beyer and paternal grandparents Paul and Ethel Dashofy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 and 8 p.m. Friday in Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Route 50, Cecil, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 9, with the Rev. Jack Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
