Deborah Lee Steggles-Stansbury
Deborah Lee Steggles-Stansbury, 57, of Washington, died Thursday, December 7, 2017.
She was born May 10, 1960, in Washington, a daughter of John H. and Priscilla L. “Penny” Steggles of Washington.
Mrs. Steggles-Stansbury was Catholic.
A graduate of Trinity High School, she also graduated as a registered nurse from Pittsburgh Nursing School, earning a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
Following graduation, she moved to Glendale, Ariz., working at Arizona State Hospital for 10 years. In 1990, she moved to Napa, Calif., working as a forensic nurse at Napa State Hospital, until she moved home to Washington in 2010, after becoming disabled.
Mrs. Steggles-Stansbury loved all animals, especially her dog, Annie. She really loved the years she spent in California and enjoyed traveling.
Her husband, Leslie Stansbury, is deceased.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a brother, John C. Steggles of Washington, and several aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 12. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
