Henry T. Likar Sr.
Henry T. Likar Sr., 90, of Washington, died Thursday, December 14, 2017, in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
He was born August 8, 1927, in Wellsburg, W.Va., a son of Vincent and Mary Kendo Likar.
Mr. Likar was a 1946 graduate of Chartiers High School.
He served with the U.S. Navy at the end of World War II and with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Likar was a machinist at McGraw-Edison in Canonsburg, retiring in 1989.
He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
On September 18, 1954, he married Mary Ann McCartney, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Henry Likar Jr. (Sandy) of Washington; a granddaughter, Leslie Marsula (Matt) of Washington; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Benjamin Marsula; a sister, Elsie Boswell (William) of Morgantown, W.Va.; a brother, Vincent Likar (Sarah) of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother John Liekar, is deceased.
