Dawn Marie Pretoroti
Dawn Marie Preteroti, 48, of Muse, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 21, 2017, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born March 8, 1969, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Victor and Lillian A. “Necca” Tatano Gasbarrini.
Mrs. Preteroti was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Muse.
She had a big heart for others, especially her family members. She was close to her parents and loved them and missed them daily since they passed away. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She had a green thumb and grew and cared for many varieties of plants in her home.
Surviving are a beloved daughter, Selina Preteroti (Amanda) of Muse, who was her caretaker and rock of strength during her illness; a son, Jordan Preteroti of Muse; a brother, Victor J. Gasbarrini of Muse; her only loving sister, Carla (James) Adams of Canonsburg; a brother, Dante Gasbarrini of Muse; husband Joseph of Muse; and a huge loving family consisting of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
She also leaves behind her dog, Buster, and her birds.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where departing prayers will begin at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 246 Muse Bishop Road, Muse. Interment will be private.
