Peter W. Yogmas
Peter W. Yogmas, 78, of Canonsburg, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 2, 2017, in his home.
He was the beloved husband of Betty Stinespring Yogmas; loving father of Edward (Amy Jo) Yogmas, James Yogmas, Jennifer Yogmas and Lori Mead; grandfather of Ryan Laepple, Megan Mead, Dustin Mead, Ethan Feinhauer, Ian Yogmas and the late baby, Matthew Yogmas; brother of John (Sue) Yogmas, the late Joseph and Paul Yogmas; brother-in-law of Margaret Yogmas; and son of the late John and Louise Yogmas. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
His beloved dog, Chloe, also survives.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Yogmas.
Mr. Yogmas was a U.S. Air Force veteran, an avid fisherman and an all-around sports fan. He was known by family and friends for his great sandwiches and was an excellent cook.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Beinhauer-Bogan Funeral Home, 164 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-5810. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, in St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. Interment to follow in St. Casimir Cemetery.
