H. Linn Weaver

H. Linn Weaver, 80, of Amity, died Saturday, November 4, 2017, in Donnell House, Washington.

He was born August 25, 1937, a son of the late Henry and Betty Iams Weaver.

Mr.Weaver was a graduate of Trinity High School. He worked as a metallurgist for Molycorp for 33 years before his retirement.

He was a member of Lone Pine Christian Church.

Mr. Weaver was a charter member of Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Company, where he served as secretary for many years. He was also a member of National Pike Steam, Gas and Horse Association and Waynesburg Moose Lodge.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his two dogs, Jill and Ginger.

On October 25, 1958, he married Shirley Mounts. They shared 56 years of marriage before her passing October 17, 2014.

Surviving are a son, Barry Weaver of Washington; two granddaughters, Nicole Burns and ShaLinn Weaver; and two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Cameron Burns.

Deceased, in addition to his parents and wife, are three children, Robert Scott Weaver, Christy McDonald and Darla Burns.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, with the Rev. Linda Mankey officiating. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday by Washington Moose Lodge 22 and Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Company in the funeral home.
