James Howard Wilson Jr.
James H. Wilson Jr., 92, of Eighty Four, passed away peacefully Monday, November 6, 2017.
He was born August 7, 1925, a son of James H. Wilson Sr. and Ethel Marie Williams Wilson.
Mr. Wilson spent many years working alongside his father on the family farm. He took great pride in his father’s name and the farm, and he loved his Allis Chalmers tractors. In addition to the farm, in the late 1960s, he opened 84 Wholesale Farm and Feed Store. He enjoyed talking and helping people with their farming needs. He retired from his store when he was 85 years old. Indeed, he was a hard worker.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Wilson; son James H. Wilson III of Eighty Four; daughter Patricia Wilson of McMurray; four grandchildren, William, Tamara, Robert and Nina; stepchildren, Daniel, Linda, Race and Ricky; and sister Ruth Bovalina of Burgettstown. Many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and friends are left to cherish his memory.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a daughter, Bonnie L. Streit.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, November 9, in Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, PA 15317, 724-746-1000, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director. Interment will follow in Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, Eighty Four.
