Terrence Edward McKenrick
Terrence Edward “Terry” McKenrick, 74, of Blairsville, formerly of Walltown, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017, in the home of his granddaughter, Amanda.
Born March 14, 1943, in Walltown, he was a son of Smith James and Mary Bridget Rafferty McKenrick. Mr. McKendrick was retired as a human resource director for UPS in New Stanton. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He was a member of St. Bonaventure Roman Catholic Church, Grampian, and loved hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
On September 3, 1982, in Washington, he wed the former Donna L. King, who survives, along with two children, Mary Jane McKenrick of Greensburg and Terrence McKenrick Jr. of Waynesburg. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Daniel McKenrick of New York and Boyd “Bud” McKenrick and wife Margaret of Florida.
He leaves behind his pet dog, Snookies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Ginger Upholster and brother Kenneth McKenrick.
Friends will be received Thursday, November 9, from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. in Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville, with Deacon Tony Indelicato officiating.
