Jonna M. Celani

Jonna M. Celani, 45, of Washington, went home to be with her Lord after a two-year illness Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

She was born November 23, 1971, a daughter of Carolyn Nichols Celani of Washington and the late John Celani. She was born in and was a lifetime resident of the Tylerdale area of Washington.

Ms. Celani was a 1990 graduate of Washington High School, where she enjoyed several years as a member of the marching band. After high school, she graduated from Penn Commercial Business College.

She worked for over a decade at NCO/OSI, Canonsburg (Southpointe), where she made many great friends. She went on to work at J.C. Penney, Ross Dress for Less and finally Washington Auto Mall.

Ms. Celani enjoyed baking, crafting, old movies, decorating and reconnecting with friends on Facebook. She had a love for all genres of music.

Along with her mother, she is survived by five brothers, Jason Celani of Washington and Lance, Mark, Craig and Chris Scholl, all of Florida; an aunt, Joyce Nichols Novak of Washington; an uncle, Richard Celani of Washington; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless family and friends who loved her.

She leaves behind her fur babies, Bella, Jake and Harley.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Celani; paternal grandparents, Pete and Virginia Celani; maternal grandparents, Lewis Sr. and Ida Nichols; and uncles, Lewis Jr. and Pete Celani.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 11. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
