Patricia Ann Hughes
Patricia Ann “Patty” Hughes, 54, of Washington, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 9, 2017, with family by her side.
She was born August 1, 1963, a daughter of the late James and Verna Fox Taylor.
Ms. Hughes enjoyed spending time at the casino and was a member of Pulaski Club, Washington. Above all, her favorite time spent was with her grandchildren.
People that knew her best would describe her as loving, funny and full of generosity. She will always be remembered for her humorous one-liners, fiery yet charming personality and bright red hair.
Surviving are a son, Justin (Caitlin) Taylor; a daughter, Megan Hughes; two grandchildren, Mia and Jobe; her loving boyfriend, Kenny Riser; four siblings, Debbie, Lena (Jimmy), Harry (Jenny) and Amy (Chris); several nieces and nephews; and the father of her children, Edward Hughes.
She also anticipated the birth of a third grandchild, due in June 2018.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are a sister, Jamie, and a brother, Jimmy.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Dale D. DeAngelo Funeral Home, 1290 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 13, with Justin Taylor and Pastor Aaron Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
