David Barish
David Barish, 64, of Strabane, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 30, 2107, in Townview Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
He was born June 2, 1953, in Strabane, a son of the late Thomas J. and Marie Plovic Barish.
Mr. Barish was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
He was employed by Walmart as a stocker, until his passing. He had many hobbies including collecting car magazines and was a big baseball fan.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Lynn Hixenbaugh of Keller, Texas; an aunt and uncle, Daniel and Marian Plovic of Washington; nieces Susanne Eakin of Hartville, Ohio, and Amy Flynn of St. Peters, Mo.; and a nephew, Ian Hixenbaugh of Pittsburgh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Scott Hixenbaugh.
A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 13, in St. Patrick Cemetery Chapel, Ridge Avenue Extension, Canonsburg. Those wishing to attend the service, please meet at the cemetery chapel.
