Dolores Shemansky Krilosky Snedeker
Dolores Shemansky Krilosky Snedeker, 85, of Daisytown, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017, in Premier Healthcare, formerly Washington County Health Center.
She was born May 13, 1932, in Daisytown, a daughter of the late John and Regina Malinsky Shemansky.
Mrs. Snedeker was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Brownsville, and former chaplain of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Daisytown Chapter for a number of years.
She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren. Family was very important to her. She loved cooking for and camping with them. She loved the outdoors and all wildlife. She would feed the animals from her hand. Hummingbirds, squirrels and deer were her favorites.
Surviving are two daughters, Jeanette Selvoski (Robert) of Bentleyville and Pamela Chiedor (Dennis) of Roscoe; a son, Nicholas J. Krilosky (Karen) of Daisytown; eight grandchildren, Stefan and Desiree Selvoski, Brandon Vadella, Breanne Chiedor, Ryan Krilosky, Breanna Deutsch, William Pierce and Tammy Hite; a stepdaughter, Tammy Snedeker of Bavington; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind her beloved puppy, Samson, whom she called her “baby.”
Deceased are her first husband, Nicholas Krilosky; her second husband, Thomas Snedeker; an infant son, Nicholas Krilosky; and a stepson, Keith Snedeker.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 17, with Fr. Christopher Burke as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
