Daniel E. Sikora
Daniel E. “Danny” Sikora, 70, of Washington, died Saturday, November 18, 2017, in Washington County Health Center, due to complications from a lengthy battle with Huntington’s Disease.
He was born May 25, 1947, in Washington, a son of the late Frank “Farmer” and Ann Ferko Sikora.
Mr. Sikora was a graduate of Trinity High School.
He was owner and operator of Washington Frame.
Mr. Sikora was a member of Polish American Beneficial Society and had served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
On July 23, 1965, he married Barbara A. Hordies, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Daniel F. (Kiersten) Sikora; two daughters, Toni A. (John) Ferencak and Lori Sikora; two brothers, David (Janice) Sikora and Richard (Marci) Sikora; four grandchildren, Jeremy Sikora, Olivia Sikora, Nicole (Jared) Roberts and John “J.J.” (Krysta) Ferencak; and three great-grandchildren, Ethan Ferencak, Deakyn DeHoet and Bailey Roberts.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m., the time of services, Tuesday, November 21, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Father Felix Pyzowski officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, Western Pennsylvania Chapter, P.O. Box 1196, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
