Frances Ealy
Frances Ealy, 92, of Washington, died Sunday, November 19, 2017, in Washington Hospital.
She was born January 31, 1925, in East Finley, a daughter of the late Melvin and Bertha Ealy Ritchea.
A homemaker, she was a member of Fairmount United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ealy enjoyed cooking and quilting. She attended Claysville Senior Center.
Her husband, Hershel Ealy, died in June 1978.
Surviving are a son, Donald (Laura) Ealy of Washington; a brother, William “Bill” Ritchea of Ohio; two grandchildren, Donald “Joe” (Melissa) Ealy and David W. (Rosella) Ealy, both of West Alexander; eight great-grandchildren, Cody, Kansas, Savannah, Ashley, Kaden, Chistopher, Malachi, and Jacob Ealy; three stepgrandchildren, Christy (Tim) Vogt, Becky Hall, and Frank Hall; six stepgreat-grandchildren, Melissa, Bradley, Bryler, Aaron, and Grogan Vogt and Drayden Hall; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three siblings, Myrtle “Mae” McVhiel, John Ritchea and Melvin Ritchea.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, with Pastor Michael Singo officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery, West Finley.
