After a brief introduction into recovery and receiving the gift of being clean with much joy and happiness, Patrick Jeffrey Rich, 30, succumbed to his addictions Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

He was born April 6, 1987, in Pittsburgh, a son of Michael Rich of Burgettstown and Laura Bradwell Rich of Canonsburg.

Mr. Rich was a student at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in Burgettstown and was a 2005 graduate of Burgettstown High School, where he played football. He also attended California University of Pennsylvania and Community College of Allegheny County.

He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Burgettstown.

Mr. Rich enjoyed playing Little League and Colt baseball, video games, skiing and spending time with friends and family.

He was a funny, caring and loving person who will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his aunts and uncles, Dixon Rich Jr., J. Jeffrey Rich, M.D., Nancy Rich Longman, Mike Bradwell, William Bradwell and Cathy Gerber, and cousins Julia Rich-Klipper, James Rich, Chris, Emily and John Longman and Kenny, Michael and Amanda Gerber.

Deceased are his paternal grandparents, Dixon and Barly Rich, and his maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Bradwell.

Family and friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Saturday, November 25, in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, with the Rev. George Moneck officiating.
