Elinor P. Mezynski, 87, of McDonald, North Fayette Township, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017, in Victoria Manor, Oakdale.

She was born February 5, 1930, in Cecil, a daughter of the late John and Elsie Bourguignon Main.

Mrs. Mezynski was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank S. “Humby” Mezynski, December 4, 2012. They were married June 1, 1954.

Surviving are three children, James (Gail) Mezynski of Upper St. Clair and Larry (Carol) Mezynski and Susan (Jeffery) Loden of McDonald; a grandson, Steven (Samantha) Mezynski; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jon David (Jean) Main of Oklahoma; an aunt, Germaine (Steve) Leukulich of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, is a brother, Robert Main.

Mrs. Mezynski was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, McDonald.

Prior to becoming a home maker, she worked at G.C. Murphy Co. 5 & 10 in McDonald.

Mrs. Mezynski was an excellent cook and gardener and was devoted to her family.

Friends will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 26, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc., 314 West Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA 15057. Private interment will be held in Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
