Frances S. Zarlino Pistilli
Frances S. Zarlino Pistilli, 86, of Bentleyville, died Sunday morning, November 26, 2017, in TownView Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born October 10, 1931, in Richwood, W.Va., a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Cartino Zarlino. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Ellsworth, where she graduated from high school in 1949.
Her first job was at RCA Victor in Canonsburg. Later, she worked as a secretary for Rebarich Insurance Co. in Bentleyville. She ended her career at age 83, retiring from Giant Eagle in Bentleyville.
She was a faithful parishioner at St. Clement’s, St. Luke’s and, most recently, St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
On November 3, 1979, in the former St. Clement Catholic Church, Ellsworth, she married the love of her life, Mario Pistilli, with whom she spent five wonderful years, until his death May 24, 1985.
Surviving are a sister, Joanne Marcini (Nathan) of Streetsboro, Ohio; and two brothers, Ralph Zarlino (Patricia) of Parma, Ohio, and James Zarlino (Darlene) of Shalersville, Ohio; and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are sisters Clara Ross Ramsey and Catherine Smith, and brothers Joseph, George and Donald Zarlino.
Friends are welcome from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 2, in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville campus (formerly Ave Maria Parish), 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Rev. Edward L. Yuhas, administrator, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
