Louis Robert Phillips Sr.
Louis Robert Phillips Sr., 58, of Washington, died Saturday, November 25, 2017, with his mother by his side.
He was born September 1, 1959, in Washington, a son of Mary Louise Beatty Hanlon of Claysville and the late Daniel Franklin Phillips Sr.
He attend Avella High School and worked for Randall’s Plumbing for numerous years.
He was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church.
He enjoyed fishing, yard sales and flea markets and was a big bargain hunter. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Louis Robert Phillips of Washington; daughter Heather Lynn Melgar of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother Daniel F. Phillips Jr. of Washington; sister Tonya R. Arbogast of Washington; three half brothers, Timothy and Jack Phillips both of Washington and Kent Phillips of Carmichaels; two half sisters, Sandy Lesko of Virginia and Ginger Phillips of Washington; seven grandchildren, Devon, Gage, Aiden and Grace Phillips and Samantha, Johnathan and Alex Melgar.
Deceased are a son, Ryan S. Phillips; brother Mark Shawn Phillips Sr.; and stepfather Charles Hanlon.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 29. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
